WLJS 91.9 fm is the campus radio station of Jacksonville State. It was built by the students for the students and first went on the air on Sept 29, 1975. Today, WLJS boasts itself as one of the largest stations in the tri-county area. We have added two repeater towers in Gadsden, on 102.1 and Oxford on 98.1. This year the station received a major update in a new automation system. With this system the station will operate both NPR and student programming together to create a well designed blend of news and music.
